Kathy Storch
Kathy was a working share for 2020, 2021 and again in 2022. She too volunteers for many hours at the farm. She is dedicated to local farming and feeding our community.
We must actually always acknowledge their work and must also thank them for their endurance as well as their contribution in keeping us healthy.
FARM HANDS
Farm hands are responsible for all daily operations including the use of a tractor and other farm equipment, greenhouse management, field cultivation, managing irrigation systems, and hoop house repairs. Farm hands will also assist with harvesting, post-harvest handling, and distribution for the farm stand and CSA. Prior experience is preferred but not required. Farm work requires the physical ability to contribute daily in a rigorous, fast paced agricultural setting that is both demanding and extremely rewarding. Individuals who are interested in gaining valuable agricultural and life experience are encouraged to apply. The growing season runs from May through November 15, please consider this commitment before applying. Preference will be given to candidates who are able to commit to the entire growing season. The farm operates weekdays and hosts a farm stand on Saturdays. Compensation is hourly. Hours are 40-50 per week, plus a weekly share of produce.
